Pennants

Sally & Leen at Timaru today, TT Nut is ideal for carting the Pennant Team around. We just managed to get ourselves on the score board with 2 points today, pretty sad tale really but we enjoyed the day.

Rainbow

Strange to see this rainbow today when there was no rain anywhere. Ends at the club house but there was no pot of gold there for Sue & I, Wendy & Sally scooped that up!

3 Happy men

Russ, Laurence & Straw at Forbury Park in Dunedin last night after Fiery Dell had a great win. Think the lens on the camera was fogged up.

Strayed into the Travel section while in changing my library books.

All I want to do is go outside and tear around but its bloody raining again!!

Mole Check

Went for a mole check the other day and they found something suspicious on my face. So back there today to have a biopsy taken from it & also one on my leg. Fingers crossed that its OK.

Sun Strike

The sun is a killer late afternoon driving up Harrison Street. Almost impossible to see anything.

Goalie

Walking through the Domain and stopped to watch kids playing hockey.  Thought this guy looked pretty colourful.

Test match

Went down to Temuka to a friends 60th tonight. Had the garage decked out like a corporate box to watch the All Blacks thrash Wales.  A lot of fun and good to catch up with people.  It may not look like it but Russell really did enjoy himself.

Ball

We got the job of taking photos at the Hotel of the set up for the College Ball tonight.  Quite amazing the transformation.  Far cry from the old assembly hall with a few streamers and balloons that I remember. Spot the other photographer.

All Clear!

Went for my 3 monthly check today and got the all clear.  So after 2 and a half years I have finally made it to 6 monthly checks!

I reckon Rudolf here was hiding when the Xmas decorations were taken down and he has just reappeared!

Travel Team

An impromptu get together to night to talk about our trip.  Sue, Jac, Sal & Anna. Only 11 weeks out before Sal & I leave for Turkey.  Sue & Anna will be meeting us  in Cairo 3 weeks later to experience Egypt, Jordan & Israel with us.  Are we excited?  YES!!!

Up the Ladder

Russ is up on the roof to clean out the chimney.  Always wanting to know whats going on Sandy climbed the ladder to check things out!

Jo & I played golf at Russley to day where this handsome bloke has quite a harem. We were pretty pleased to win the Stableford section.

Up the Downs

Visited a friend in Geraldine today and this is the view from her deck.  Magnificent. Only took this with P&S to make the Pan.  Will have to go back with my real camera.

Learner

Now theres a good safe vehicle I could have done with on the odd occasion to teach learner drivers.  Get out the way or we just go over the top of you!  Might be a bit of sun but by the look of that sky not for long.

Disqualified!

Fiery Del (No 3) had his first race start today at Ashburton in the pouring rain.  Unfortunately he broke at the start and galloped so was disqualified after finishing a good 4th.

Dreary Sunday

Its only 4pm but seems later on this dreary Queens Birthday Sunday. Was hoping to get a shot of some motor bikes coming home from the Brass monkey but think I was too  late.

 Anna didn't quite go in the creek but she still rolled her trousers up for some reason.

Our 103 was OK after all.

Fog

We could hardly  find our way to the golf club this morning in the fog.  But it soon lifted and we had a brilliant day.

Sandra

Sad day today as we farewelled  Sandra, Toms sole mate and a very good friend to so many people.
